The Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express trial has begun today. It will cover a distance of more than 410 km in less than six hours by connecting Bihar & Jharkhand.
On Monday, the trial run of the Vande Bharat Express between Patna and Ranchi was initiated by the Railways authorities.
In a significant development, a trial run of a train service commenced today at 6:55 am from Patna Junction. The train is scheduled to make a return from Ranchi and the trial run will conclude by 8:25 pm.
Tomorrow, on June 12, a Vande Bharat train equipped with state-of-the-art facilities will undergo a trial run between Patna and Ranchi, passing through Gaya and Barkakana.
A train departing from Patna Junction at 06:55 am is scheduled to arrive at Gaya by 08:20 am. Following a brief stop, the train will depart from Gaya at 08:30 am and is expected to reach Ranchi by 1 pm.
According to the official, the train scheduled for the return journey from Ranchi to Patna will depart from Ranchi at 2:20 pm and arrive at Gaya at 7 pm. After departing from Ranchi at 7:10 pm, the train will reach Patna at 8:25 pm.
According to the CPRO, the Vande Bharat run will be conducted solely for operational and experimental purposes, including safety checks, prior to regular operations.
In the upcoming trial run of Vande Bharat between Patna and Ranchi on June 12, it has been announced that general passengers will not be permitted to board the train.
A new train route has been announced that will operate via Jehanabad, Gaya, Barkakana, Koderma, Hazaribagh Town, and Mesra.
Train to run at high speed during trial run. Railway administration appeals to the public to maintain a safe distance from railway tracks and prevent cattle from wandering onto the tracks.
