Pankaj Advani, Shrikrishna Shine In Snooker Championship

In the world of snooker, India’s Pankaj Advani and Shrikrishna S have made the country proud by qualifying for the knockout stages of the IBSF World 6-Red Snooker Championship in Doha.

The IBSF World 6-Red Snooker Championship in Doha is a big snooker tournament where players from all over the world come to compete.

Snooker is a game where players use cues to hit colored balls on a table, aiming to score points. This championship is special because it uses the “6-Red” format, which means there are fewer red balls than usual. Normally, snooker has 15 red balls, but in this version, there are only 6, making the game faster and more exciting.

Pankaj Advani, a highly celebrated player with over 20 world titles in billiards and snooker under his belt, has shown his exceptional skills once again. He’s not just an ordinary player; he’s a third-seeded giant in this competition, indicating his high ranking and respect in the snooker world.

Joining him from India is Shrikrishna S, who is not just another player but the defending champion. That’s right, he’s the one everyone is trying to beat this year!

His presence adds an extra layer of excitement to the tournament. Also in the mix is Amir Sarkhosh from Iran, a former world champion, making this a truly competitive event.

In their journey to the knockouts, both Indian players showed their class. Advani was in top form, dominating his group matches with impressive 4-1 and 4-0 wins.

This outstanding performance earned him a direct entry into the last-16, bypassing the need for an additional round. Shrikrishna, despite being a strong player, faced a slightly tougher path.

He dropped one frame in his matches, which means he had to play an extra round in the knockout stage. But, given his talent and title of defending champion, he’s still a formidable contender.
