Pakistan Becomes Bankrupt And Sends Back Same Aid To Turkey

Pakistan has declared itself a bankrupt country. The country embarrassed itself again by sending Turkey the same aid package that it received from Turkey during the floods.

Khawaja Asif, Pakistan’s defense minister, declared on 20th February that Pakistan is already bankrupt amid mounting concerns that it might not be able to secure a $7 billion rescue from the IMF (IMF).

After the terrible earthquake that shook the broad border region of Turkey and Syria earlier this month, Turkish authorities claim that aid that had been sent to Pakistan after its flood destruction in June 2022 was deported back to them.

Authorities told CNN-News18 that while changing the box outside, Islamabad authorities forgot to alter the boxes inside.

In a special act of “solidarity and support,” Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid a two-day visit to the earthquake-stricken country just days prior to the discoveries.

According to reports, while the outside boxes carried the message that these materials were sent by the people of Pakistan to help with the earthquake, the message inside the box stated that these goods were sent by the Turkey citizens to the Pakistani people to assist them in coping with the devastating effects of the floods.

According to a number of media reports, Pakistani journalist Shahid Masood also asserted on the GNN news station that Islamabad had dispatched C-130 planes carrying supplies and rescuers to Turkey’s earthquake-stricken regions.

When the Sindh province was ravaged by floods in 2022, Pakistan sent the same emergency supplies that Turkey had sent.

The southeast of Turkey and neighboring Syria were both hit by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake on February 6, which left at least 45,000 people dead and millions homeless.

With the exception of the two severely damaged provinces, Kahramanmaras and Hatay, rescue efforts have ended in all save those two.
