Olympic Park City To Be Built Near Noida International Airport

YEIDA is constructing an Olympic Park near Noida International Airport, as part of Master Plan-2041, to create a world-class metropolis & sports area.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has announced its plans to build an Olympic Park and an Olympic Village near the Noida International Airport in Jewar. 

The project is part of the YEIDA’s Master Plan-2041, which aims to create a super-modern metropolis and a sports area with world-class amenities.

The Olympic Park, which will be spread over 390 hectares, will include facilities for various sports such as football, hockey, volleyball, jogging tracks, and a cricket stadium. 

The Olympic Village, which will be built on 52.4 hectares of land, will have player housing and practice facilities, among others. 

The entire project is designed to provide athletes with world-class amenities and promote sports in the region.

The YEIDA’s Master Plan-2041 also includes plans for the construction of 8 lakh dwellings, 1,200 hectares of commercial space, and 4,000 hectares of industrial property to accommodate the projected 41.7 lakh residents by 2041.

According to Arun Vir Singh, the CEO of YEIDA, the proposed sports facilities could also host major international athletic events like the Olympics in the future. 

The Olympic Park will be developed along the lines of the Commonwealth Games sports complex in Delhi.

The plan also includes suggestions for a golf course, a central commercial hub, a warehouse, and logistics facilities. 

The YEIDA officials stated that the entire project is aimed at promoting sustainable development and creating world-class infrastructure in the region.

The Olympic Park and Olympic Village project is expected to be a major attraction for sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. 

The project will help boost tourism in the region and create employment opportunities for the locals. The YEIDA has already acquired the land for the project, and the work is expected to start soon. 

The YEIDA officials are committed to completing the project within the stipulated time frame and making it a world-class destination for sports and nature lovers.
