The CEO of Ola Bhavish Aggarwal declared that they’re going to launch their latest, affordable Electric Vehicle on 15th August, the occasion of 75th Independence Day.

The S1 Pro electric scooter is presently available through Ola’s EV section. The taxi aggregator Poplar previously teased an electric vehicle, but there haven’t been any updates on it recently.

Exactly one year after the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter was introduced, CEO Bhavish Aggarwal announced on Twitter that the company is preparing to make a new product announcement on August 15 in honor of India’s 75th Independence Day.

Although a cheap electric scooter might be the next product, we can’t fully rule out the potential of the electric automobile that was hinted at earlier this year. The questioned vehicle looked to be a sporty-looking hatchback.

Back in June, it was in discussion that Ola was developing a less expensive electric scooter with cruise control.

It is being expected that the corporation may decide to remove the touch screen to lower the price of the device.

According to media sources, a new chassis is being created for the next scooter. The article also stated that Ola will introduce two electric vehicle types in the latter half of 2023.

Quality Control On Ola Electric Scooter

Ola is to be seeking to increase manufacturing in the upcoming quarters in order to export S1 series modules to Latin America & New Zealand in addition to India.

Recall that despite the Ola S1 Pro’s excellent sales figures, the electric scooter has been plagued by problems with its build quality and problematic software, which have led to a variety of problems over the past few months.

We hope Ola has taken notice of the Indian government’s demands placed on electric scooter manufacturers to uphold quality standards following a series of fire mishaps during the summer.
