Nayanthara’s starrer film – O2 is a well-intentioned film with an engaging story of a single mother & her child. Let’s discuss O2 Movie Review in a detailed way!
The survival drama O2, which stars Nayanthara in the title role, has finally been made available on Disney+ Hotstar.
The difficulties of a single mother to protect her little kid are the focus of the GS Viknesh-directed film.
Under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures, SR Prakash Babu & SR Prabhu are filming O2 movie.
A single mother named Parvathy (Nayanthara) shares a home with her young son Veera (Rithvik). The boy has cystic fibrosis, a condition that makes it challenging for him to breathe without the assistance of an oxygen cylinder.

She takes Veera to a reputable hospital in Kochi for the same after understanding that he can have a normal life following surgery.
The hectic trip ultimately puts their lives in risk, but Parvathy fights valiantly to save her kid as well as his oxygen cylinder.
O2 is off to an intriguing start with an intriguing notion thanks to director GS Viknesh. Unquestionably ambitious, the movie also has a few memorable moments.
It’s easy to build the bond between a loving mother and her sick child, and it later turns out to be one of the movie’s main saving graces.
The movie makes an effort to engage its audience by leaving clues in the first half that relate to specific events in the second half.
But O2 falls short in terms of having a strong sense of narrative. It is very challenging for the audience to empathize with any of the characters.
The events in the second half come off as contrived, and the film’s denouement is unimpressive.
O2 undoubtedly has the makings of a compelling survival thriller, but the screenplay and narration fade away, making it an unfavorable watch.

O2 is one of those movies that has an engaging concept and an enthusiastic opening, but further misses the point.
The movie is okay to watch because of some exciting concepts and Nayanthara’s brilliant acting performance as the lead role. However you may disappoint somewhere with the climax.
