In an exclusive conversation with Zoom Digital, Tasneem confirmed her daughter was safe and finally on her way back to India, quelling the apprehensions that had gripped her well-wishers.
“My daughter is coming back and is safe. We are very happy,” Tasneem’s words of assurance provided a sense of closure to the distressing situation.
Sources with reliable information confirmed Nushrratt Bharuccha was slated to board a flight from Tel Aviv, alongside other stranded Indians.
This pivotal step included a necessary stopover in Dubai. Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Israel has asked its citizens to avoid unnecessary movement and stay close to safety shelters.
The hostilities follow months of rising violence, mostly in the occupied West Bank, and tensions around Gaza’s border and at contested holy sites in Jerusalem.
Nushrratt’s return journey serves as a reminder of the difficulties encountered during such turbulent times and emphasises the importance of diplomatic efforts.
