In the midst of the escalating Israel-Palestine conflict, concerning reports surfaced Sunday regarding the well-being of Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha.

Palestinian militant group Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel early on Saturday, releasing 5,000 rockets into the country amid its fighters crossing into several Israeli towns.

The Israel Defence Forces have announced “Operation Swords of Iron”, striking several targets in the Gaza Strip. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed strong response.

More than 300 people have been reported dead in Israel, with at least 230 killed in Gaza. A number of countries have expressed solidarity with Israel, including the US and UK.

As the UN Security Council called an emergency meeting over the crisis for Sunday, US President Joe Biden expressed his “rock solid and unwavering” support for Israel.

Meanwhile, a senior adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei voiced support for the Palestinian group on Saturday, calling the attack a “proud operation”.

Nushrratt Bharuccha’s Mother Seeks To Quell Apprehensions

In the midst of the escalating conflict, concerning reports surfaced Sunday regarding the well-being of Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha, who was among the stranded Indians in Israel.

Her presence in the country was initially associated with her participation in the Haifa International Film Festival, an event that unfortunately coincided with the hostilities.

Her team, unable to establish contact with her, issued a statement, deepening concerns about her safety during these tumultuous times.

Their statement intensified the anxiety surrounding Nushrratt’s whereabouts. But a glimmer of relief emerged when the actress’s mother addressed the worries.

“My daughter is coming back and is safe. We are very happy,” Tasneem’s words of assurance provided a sense of closure to the distressing situation.

Sources with reliable information confirmed Nushrratt Bharuccha was slated to board a flight from Tel Aviv, alongside other stranded Indians.

This pivotal step included a necessary stopover in Dubai. Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Israel has asked its citizens to avoid unnecessary movement and stay close to safety shelters.
