NPCI Sets Daily UPI Transaction Limit On All UPI Apps

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has set transaction limits on all UPI apps including Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay & Amazon Pay.

In India, one of the most popular methods of daily payment is the Unified Payments Interface (UPI).

The convenience of not having to carry cash or a wallet has been greatly diminished by the availability of the digital payment option practically everywhere.

The service’s widespread adoption has been aided by the simplicity with which it can be used directly from a smartphone.

Additionally, the ability to use the service through a variety of apps, including –

  • Google Pay,
  • PhonePe,
  • Paytm,
  • Amazon Pay, and others,

They have made it easier for small vendors as well as business owners to accept payments. But did you know that there is a limit to the amount you can transact with UPI?

UPI Limits Set By NPCI

A user can only transact up to ₹ 1 lakh using UPI in a single day, according to National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).

In addition, the amount you can send over UPI in a day can vary according to your bank and the app you use.
