No more BlackBerry smartphones in the market, company decides to pull the plug

One of the most talked-about and popular names of the smartphone world, BlackBerry, has decided to call its plug on the service.

The company was once one of the most famous smartphone brands and the decrease in its popularity only came after the iPhone in the market.

The phones are also known to have been the favorites by most executives, politicians, and legions of fans in the early 2000s. With this, the brand has also ended an era in the market. The most notable features of these phones were the tiny QWERTY physical keyboard, pioneered push email, and the BBM instant messaging service.

One of the most loyal users of the smartphone was former United States President Barack Obama. He made headlines in 2016 when he was asked by some of the top officials to give up his BlackBerry and use some other smartphone, the name of which was not revealed.
