NIRF Rankings 2024: IIT Madras Continues Unbeaten Streak as No. 1

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the number one position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 for the sixth consecutive year. This prestigious recognition reaffirms IIT Madras’s standing as the leading educational institution in India, both in the overall and engineering categories.

The NIRF rankings are released annually by the Ministry of Education evaluate institutions across the country based on various parameters, including teaching, learning, and resources, research and professional practices, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception. The consistent performance of IIT Madras highlights its commitment to excellence in education, research, and innovation.
