New President Of India 2022: Voting Over With 99.18% Across The Country

President Election Voting has been over with 99.18%. Now the ballot boxes will reach the Parliament from across the country. The result will come within 3 days.

The election to choose India’s 16th president is now over. In the country’s Parliament and Legislative Assemblies, 99.18 percent of the representatives of the people exercised their right to vote. 

On July 21, when the new President will be unveiled, all eyes will be on Washington. Draupadi Murmu and Yashwant Sinha, the opposition, had been fielded by the NDA.

The likelihood of Draupadi Murmu winning is very strong.

Corona Infected Or Sick Leaders Voted Like This

The Union Energy Minister RK Singh and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman voted in Parliament House while wearing PPE kits.

Both have the Corona infection. Due to this, both ministers arrived at the polls outfitted in PPE kits.

Manmohan Singh, a former prime minister, and Mulayam Singh Yadav, the founder of the Samajwadi Party (SP), arrived at Parliament House on wheels on Monday to cast their ballots in the presidential election.

89-year-old Manmohan Singh has been ill since contracting Kovid-19 last year. Mulayam, 82, has also been ill for a considerable amount of time. He had to go to the hospital numerous times last year for various medical issues.

99.18% Voting In Presidential Election

The presidential election saw a record-high voter turnout of 99.18%. All throughout the world, peaceful, cordial presidential elections were held. 

PC Modi, the chief electoral officer, provided this information. He stated that ballot boxes from all throughout the nation will arrive at the Parliament by late this evening (Monday).

Ballot Boxes Will Decide The Result Instead Of EVMs

The voting for the Indian Parliament and Assemblies’ Presidential elections has concluded.

But the outcome of NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu versus opposition candidate Yashwant Sinha will be determined by paper ballots rather than electronic voting machines.
