New Couple Randeep Hooda, Lin Laishram Visits Imphal Temple, Relief Camps

Randeep Hooda, the Bollywood actor we’ve seen in films like ‘Sarabjit’, and Lin Laishram, a well-known Manipuri model and actress, just got hitched in a traditional Meitei wedding in Imphal, Manipur. The wedding, held on November 29, was a close-knit affair, graced only by their nearest and dearest.

The couple shared their joy on social media with some stunning photos from the ceremony. Randeep looked dapper in a classic white kurta, while Lin glowed in traditional gold jewelry. Their caption, “From today, we are One,” pretty much sums up the new chapter they’ve embarked on.

Before the big day, Randeep and Lin made a heartwarming gesture by visiting relief camps for victims of the Kuki-Meitei ethnic clashes in Manipur. They also sought blessings at the Ibudhou Marjing Temple in Heingang, a significant site in Imphal. This temple is special as it honors the God of Polo, a game that originated in Manipur. 

Lin posted some serene snaps from the temple visit. Randeep was seen in a stylish kurta, and Lin chose a sophisticated pink saree for this sacred moment. They also visited the Shri Govindjee Temple, another revered site.

Their announcement on Instagram a week ago had fans buzzing. They drew inspiration from the epic Mahabharata, comparing their union to the marriage of Arjun and Manipuri princess Chitrangada. They expressed their happiness and gratitude for the love and blessings they’ve received, highlighting the beautiful blend of their cultures.

Lin, who debuted in Bollywood with ‘Om Shanti Om’, has been part of movies like ‘Mary Kom’ and ‘Rangoon’. Randeep, on the other hand, is gearing up for his next film, ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar‘, a biopic on the freedom fighter Veer Savarkar.
