Nature’s Return Gift For Mankind: 75 Metric Tonnes Of Garbage

People used to throw more than 1.5 Crore tonnes of garbage into the seas every year. But this time nature (the ocean) has returned the garbage back to humans.

The difficulty for BMC and other departments has grown as a result of the sea at Mahim Beach in Mumbai depositing so much trash on the coastline following the high tide.

This is the trash that people had thrown into the water, but the ocean, as a warning, had thrown it back onto the coast in the way of a storm.

This is likely a message from the sea to its inhabitants that if they do not alter their behavior right now, the sea will eventually gather their garbage and dump it in front of their homes rather than on the shoreline.

Nature Returned 75 Metric Tonnes Of Garbage

75 metric tons of trash have been removed from Mahim Beach alone in the past two months. The majority of this trash is plastic.

To make Mumbai plastic-free, a number of significant campaigns were started. This trash was dumped in the sea possibly to ensure the success of this campaign.

However, the sea gave the humans back this trash and warned them that if they did not take care of it, the situation would worsen in the future.

1.5 Crores Tonnes Garbage Dumps Into The Sea

This issue is extremely significant because 15 million tonnes of trash are dumped into the sea each year in India.

None other than those who call this planet their home are the ones that dump this trash into the air. Humans have been warned by the ocean waves by returning plastic trash.
