After the election results, India is ready to welcome the official PM for the term 2024-2029. With the majority votes NDA is all set for it, they selected Narendra Modi as their leader who will take oath on June 9th.
So, Narendra Modi is preparing to be sworn in for his third consecutive term as Prime Minister. The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday at 7:15 pm at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Alongside Modi, the new Council of Ministers will also take their oaths of office and secrecy.
To celebrate and showcase the winning of the world’s largest democracy India sent invites to several leaders from neighboring countries to come and witness the moment of the Oath ceremony of leaders in a healthy democracy. Many leaders have accepted the invite.

– 9:05 am: Prime Minister of Mauritius arrives at IGI T-3
– 9:05 am: President of Maldives arrives at IGI T-3
– 11:30 am: Prime Minister of Bhutan arrives at IGI T-3
– 11:50 am: President of Sri Lanka arrives at IGI T-3
– 2:50 pm: Prime Minister of Nepal arrives at IGI T-3
The national capital Delhi is full of international guests so it will be on high alert on Sunday, with stringent security measures in place as the SAARC leaders arrive. Major hotels like the Leela, Taj, ITC Maurya, Claridge’s, and Oberoi are under tight security. Safe routes have been planned for the dignitaries to travel between their hotels and the venue.
According to officials, “Dignitaries attending the swearing-in will be given designated routes from their hotels to the venue and back.”
