On Friday, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut stated that Maharashtra’s Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government’s strong allegations regarding some ministers won’t affect our party’s stability.
A lady has alleged rape charges on NCP’s Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde. Munde had denied the accusations saying that he was in a relationship with the lady since 2003. Whereas, BJP leader Krishna Hegde submitted a written letter to police against the lady who had accused Munde of rape.
Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested the son-in-law of NCP minister Nawab Malik in a drug case, urging the BJP to take action against the three ministers.
After having a meeting with the NCP head Sharad Pawar, Raut stated “this is the main mantra for the opposition party. When something occurs, they immediately begin asking for resignations, and if this is applied to everyone, then we also should request the resignation of PM Modi over the farmer’s dissent or many other issues, and the farmer’s rally is something that asks for a resignation,” Raut expressed.
Sanjay Raut’s wife Varsha Raut also came in controversy as she had to paid back Rs 55 lakh loan as PMC bank scam accused her after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned her.
In the matter of Munde’s case, Raut urges for a complete probe and says Munde’s resignation should not be sought promptly. The Maha Vikas Aghadi of Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress coalition is strong regardless of the number of allegations the opposition party makes, Raut added. When asked by reporters, whether the claims against MVA leaders have harmed the party alliance, Raut answered, “definitely not”.
