Elections for the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the wealthiest local body in the nation, have been scheduled since last year. During his visit to the city’s financial center, the prime minister is anticipated to give a speech to the general public.

According to some local sources, BJP members will assemble at the BKC ground by 1 p.m. on Thursday because the Western Express Highway will remain closed due to security concerns.

PM Modi is making his first trip to the city after the BJP helped the Eknath Shinde-led government win the election. In Mumbai, the two sides are anticipated to demonstrate their dominance.

Outside of former CM Uddhav Thackeray’s bungalow in Bandra, large cutouts of PM Modi, Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and his deputy Devendra Fadnavis have been erected.

Drones and other flying items are not permitted within a 24-hour radius of Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), Andheri, and Jogeshwari.

Between Andheri (E) to Dahisar (E), Metro Line 7 is a 16.5-km elevated line with 13 stations. Cost of the project: Rs. 6,208 crore.

Beginning in April 2022, a 10.7-km first phase with nine stations connected Dahisar and Aarey. On Friday, the 5.8 km’s remaining four stations will begin operating.
