Mumbai: Caller Threatens Terrorist Attack Akin to 26/11 if…

Terror attack similar to 26/11!

The caller, who spoke in Urdu, predicted that there would be a terror attack similar to the one that happened in Mumbai on November 26, 2008, and that the Uttar Pradesh government would be to blame for it.

An unidentified caller warned that a terror attack akin to 26/11 would occur if Pakistani woman Seema Haider did not return to her home country, a Mumbai Police official told news agencies.

The caller, who spoke in Urdu, claimed that the Uttar Pradesh government would be to blame for a terrorist attack similar to the one that occurred in Mumbai on November 26, 2008, the police official said, according to a PTI report.

According to him, the threat call is being looked into by Mumbai Police, and a crime branch team has also been enlisted. According to the official, the call was placed using an app, and the police were attempting to identify the caller’s IP address.

According to news sources, Greater Noida resident Sachin Meena, a lover of Pakistani national Seema Haider, recently entered India illegally to marry her. While playing the online game PUBG, the two met and became friends.

The 30-year-old Pakistani woman and her 25-year-old Indian partner were detained by the police in connection with her unlawful presence in India, but last week they were released on bail by a court in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

On July 4, Sachin and Seema both publicly confessed their love for one another in front of the media and the police, pleading with the government to permit their union to continue in India through marriage.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) Mumbai office received a letter earlier in February of this year threatening to carry out a terror attack in Mumbai from an unidentified person posing as a member of the Taliban.

News sources said the email implied that someone associated with the Taliban would carry out the attack in Mumbai.

The city police and the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) were informed of the threat.

The sender of the threat email, who allegedly used an email address with “CIA” in it, claimed that someone with connections to the Taliban would carry out an attack in the city, according to the police.

Pakistan has been identified as the IP (internet protocol) address of the sender, according to a police official.

The situation is the subject of an investigation. Police believe it might be a hoax, though, as similar emails were sent to the investigation agency in the past.

A similar email was sent to the federal agency last month. In an investigation, the police found nothing, according to news sources.
