Mulayam Singh Yadav, Samajwadi Party Supremo Dies At 82

Samajwadi Party leader & former UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav has passed away at the age of 82 in the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.

Mulayam Singh Yadav, leader of the Samajwadi Party and a former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has died at the age of 82. 

He passed away at the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, Haryana, where he had been a patient for a few days.

According to reports, Mulayam Singh Yadav was taken to the Medanta hospital in Gurugram with respiratory issues and later moved to the intensive care unit due to his precarious health. Later, he was given medications to keep him alive.

The Medanta Hospital stated in a health bulletin on Sunday, “Today, Mulayam Singh Yadav ji is on life-saving medication and his condition is quite severe. He is receiving care from a large group of medical professionals at the ICU of Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.”

The Yadav family received support last week from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who both inquired about the SP chief’s health and wished him a swift recovery.

According to sources, Mulayam Singh had been experiencing a number of illnesses over the last few months and had already been hospitalized once this year. 

Last week, Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Yadav, the son and brother of the previous chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, rushed to his aid in Gurugram.

The Samajwadi Party and the hospital are anticipated to issue a formal statement regarding the veteran politician’s cause of death shortly. 

The precise cause of Mulayam Singh Yadav’s passing has not yet been made public.

He was born on November 22, 1939, is one of Uttar Pradesh‘s most well-known political figures.

Mulayam Singh Yadav has three times served as the state’s chief minister and has also held the position of defense minister in the federal government. He was elected MLA ten times and Lok Sabha MP seven times.

Criminals like Mukhtar Ansari were given a free hand by Mulayam Singh Yadav and his party.

In many instances, Mulayam Singh Yadav has expressed his anti-Hindu sentiment. The shooting over the Kar Sevaks in Ayodhya was among the most terrible of these events.
