Mr. Manaivi: The exciting new Sun TV serial with a stellar cast

Mr. Manaivi – set to premiere on March 6 – will mark the TV comeback of popular film actress Sithara, who will be playing the role of the protagonist’s mother in the serial.

Sun TV, known for launching some of the most unique and exciting Tamil serials such as Malar, Super Jodi, and Vikram Vedha, is gearing up to add another entry to its diverse lineup. The daily soap ‘Mr. Manaivi – set to premiere on March 6 – will also mark the TV comeback of popular film actress Sithara, who will be playing the role of the protagonist’s mother in the serial.

Sithara’s comeback to TV after several years has added additional excitement and anticipation around the show.

The plot revolves around the challenges encountered by a newly married couple in their daily lives, according to sources familiar with the matter. The serial casts Shabana Shajahan, Aryan, and Pavan Ravindra in the lead roles. A new promo for the serial has been released, showing Shabana and Pavan meeting in the temple.

Evident from its promo, Mr. Manaivi promises a family drama captivating enough to keep its viewers hooked to the screens throughout the show.

The serial will be available exclusively on Sun TV. While the premiere date has been announced, the timings haven’t been updated yet, although viewers can catch each new episode on weekdays.

The show has an approximate running time of 24 minutes and can also be streamed online on Sun NXT.

In recent days, a number of people have expressed excitement over Sithara’s comeback. The actress made her Tamil debut in 1989 and is known for her works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films. She has starred in more than a hundred films in a wide variety of roles in her film career spanning at least 37 years.
