Moto G84 5G Launched in India With Snapdragon 695 SoC

Motorola has launched the Moto G84 5G in India, featuring a 6.55-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1300 nits.

It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone runs Android 13, with a promise of one year of Android updates and three years of security patches.

For photography, the Moto G84 5G sports a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor.

On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging and features an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. Security is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Moto G84 5G supports 5G connectivity and offers features like GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB Type-C. It comes in Viva Magenta and Marshmallow Blue colors with a vegan leather finish, as well as a Midnight Blue variant with a 3D acrylic glass finish.

The phone is priced at Rs. 19,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, but there’s a Rs. 1,000 discount available on ICICI Bank credit cards or through a Flipkart exchange offer, bringing the effective price down to ₹18,999. It will be available for purchase starting at 12 PM IST on September 8.

Motorola also revealed plans for the Moto G54 5G, which is expected to launch in India on September 6. The smartphone is expected to come in three colors: Mint Green, Pearl Blue, and Midnight Blue.

This device is rumored to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, a 6000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and Android 13 out of the box.

Motorola Upcoming Phones In 2023

Motorola is also planning to launch several new phones in India in 2023. Here are some of the upcoming models and their expected features:

1. Motorola Edge 40 Pro

This phone is expected to have a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a large 6.67-inch OLED display with a high 144Hz refresh rate.

It may come with a triple-camera system on the back, including a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 12 MP depth sensor.

The front-facing camera could be 60 MP. The phone is rumored to have a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging support.

2. Motorola Razr 40 Ultra

This phone is said to be a foldable device with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It may feature a 6.7-inch OLED display on the inside and a 3.5-inch OLED display on the outside.

The camera setup could include a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 12 MP depth sensor.

3. Moto G53s

This phone is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ processor and have a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

It may come with a triple-camera system on the back, including a 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2 MP macro sensor.

The front-facing camera could be 16 MP. The phone may have a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging support.

4. Moto G23

This phone is expected to have a Snapdragon 680 processor and a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

It may come with a triple-camera system on the back, including a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2 MP macro sensor.
