However, with the inclusion of two extra teams this year, the average has grown to $1.04 billion, a 24 percent increase.

Over the last 13 years, the IPL has grown at a pace of 10 percent, while the NFL has grown at a rate of 16 percent.

2) The Chennai Super Kings ($14.8 Million)

The Chennai Super Kings, owned by India Cements, are ranked second on the ranking with a $1.15 billion valuation.

They are expected to produce $41.2 million in revenue and $14.8 million in operating income.

3) Kolkata Knight Riders ($1.10 Billion)

The Kolkata Knight Riders, owned by SRK and Juhi Chawla, are worth $1.1 billion. They are expected to produce $41.2 million in revenue and $14.1 million in operating income.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore, owned by United Breweries and valued at $1.025 billion, is in sixth place.

7) Rajasthan Royals ($1.00 Billion)

RCB team is followed by the Rajasthan Royals, who are sponsored by Emerging Media Ltd and have a $1 billion valuation.


These 7 teams are followed by Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans, which have a market value of $970 million, $925 million & $850 million respectively.
