‘Mission Majnu’ Depicts The Story Of A Patriot RAW Agent

Sidharth Malhotra & Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Mission Majnu’ teaser has been released. It will hit the theaters on January 20, 2023. Shiddharth plays a RAW agent in this film.

The teaser for Sidharth Malhotra’s Mission Majnu movie has been released. The teaser was posted by the actor to his Instagram account on Friday. It left fans commenting about the film, “Iss Majnu ke kaam karne ka tarika alag hai.”

Teaser begins with a glimpse at India and Pakistan’s 1971 war. A voiceover says “1971 – Pakistan had lost to India for a third time.” 

They were not defeated but they weren’t knocked to the ground and only had one option to defeat India: a nuclear attack. 

They underestimated the power of RAW. This is the story about one heroic RAW agent, whose name is not in the history books.

The teaser then shows Sidharth Malhotra leaping from a train. The teaser then reveals that Sidharth Malhotra will play the role of a spy. In the teaser, Rashmika Mandanna can also be seen as a bride.

The teaser ends by Malhotra declaring, “Hindustan Ki hifaazat Ke liyemain kuch bhi Karsakta Hun (I can do whatever for safeguarding India). He adds that he is not a fan of guns and is a spy.

Sidharth Malhotra, speaking about Mission Majnu, said that he was excited because it would be his first time as a spy. It depicts India’s most dramatic covert mission. 

This was what transformed the politics between India, its neighboring country in the 1970s. “With Netflix aboard, I am confident this incredible narrative will resonate worldwide,” said the Hindustan Times.

Mission Majnu, in addition to Sidharth Malhotra as the lead, also features Rashmika Mendanna. Ronnie Screwvala (RSVP), Amar Butala, Garima Mehta (“Guilty by Association Media”) produced the film. 

It was written by Sumit Batheja, Aseem Arrora, and Parveez Shaikh. On January 20, 2019, the film will be available on Netflix OTT.
