Microsoft Officially Integrates ChatGPT AI To Bing And Edge

Microsoft claims that the new additions to Edge and Bing will change the entire experience of browsing the web and finding information online.

Microsoft has made ChatGPT available on Bing and Edge. The well-known AI tool ChatGPT uses the same technology, which the technology giant has integrated. A level of search results that has never been seen before will be made available by the browser and search engine. Microsoft has also added capabilities for the Edge browser that are boosted by AI. The company asserts that the new features will fundamentally alter how people browse the web and gather information online.

It’s a new day in search, said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. Today is the first day of the race, and we intend to go quickly. He continued, “Most significantly, we want to have a lot of fun experimenting again in search because it’s high time.”

How Will Bing & Edge Change?

Bing and Edge from Microsoft combine search, browsing, and conversation into a single experience. The updated Bing offers better search results along with a sidebar of thorough AI-provided responses.

Additionally, Bing now offers an interactive chat function for difficult searches. The new Bing may also create content that serves as inspiration and includes source citations.

A new design, chat, and composition features, as well as AI capabilities, have all been added to Microsoft Edge.

Edge can provide content writing assistance and summarize lengthy financial data while adjusting to the current web page being read.

More powerful than ChatGPT and GPT-3.5, the new Bing is powered by a big language model from OpenAI’s next generation.

To maximize the potential of the OpenAI model, Microsoft has created a proprietary technique known as the Prometheus model.

The fundamental Bing search ranking engine has been enhanced with AI, significantly increasing relevance.

With a combined search, browser, and chat interface, the customer experience has been redesigned.

When Will You Get Access ChatGPT-Powered Bing & Edge?

According to a statement from Microsoft, the new Bing is now only accessible as a limited desktop preview. 

Anyone interested in trying out some sample searches and joining the waitlist can go to Bing.com right away. 

In the upcoming weeks, the corporation will extend the demonstration to millions of users. There will also soon be a demonstration of a mobile experience.
