Mani Ratnam Finished Shooting For ‘Ponniyin Selvan: I’ In 120 Days

Mani Ratnam finished the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Ponniyin Selvan: I’ in just 120 days. Today its first single (song) get premiered.

The creators of Ponniyin Selvan by Mani Ratnam: In front of tens of thousands of people at Chennai’s Express Avenue Mall, he debuted the first song from the movie, Ponni Nadhi. 

Karthi, Jayaram, and Jayam Ravi attended the occasion. Karthi mentioned that Mani Ratnam completed filming for the two portions of the movie in less than 120 days during his moving speech.

He added, “It’s been a dream working on this movie.” Karthi opened with his well-known opening speech, “Enna mama sowkiyama.” 

On the other hand, Jayam Ravi stated during his remarks at the grand launch event today, “Tamil Makkal have a wonderful sense of cinema and can recognise a good shot. 

This is a very distinctive characteristic of our audience.” He went on to describe how Karthi supported him when he was receiving horseback riding instruction on the movie set.

“Every Tamilian who has read Ponniyin Selvan has a strong attachment to it in their hearts and minds. I’m thrilled to have contributed to this creation “Jayaram spoke at the occasion.

The first song by Ponniyin Selvan, which was made available in both Telugu and Tamil, is titled Ponge Nadhi. 

The first captivating track by AR Rahman, named Kaveri Se Milne in Hindi, has also been premiered in Malayalam and Kannada.

After a very lengthy separation, Mani and composer AR Rahman reunited on PS1.

Karthi tweeted, sharing the song’s Tamil translation: “I had the impression that I was entering the Chola Kingdom when I first heard this song! True magic Come on this journey with me.” 

In the song, he is portrayed as Vallavaraiyan Vandiyadevan, riding a horse by VeeraNarayana Lake. It is where the narrative begins.
