Mahindra Announces To Launch 5 Electric SUVs In 2024

Mahindra has announced plans to launch 5 new electric SUVs – BE.05, BE.07, BE.09, XUV.e8, XUV.e9 Electric SUVs in 2024 under 2 brands namely Mahindra BE & Mahindra XUV.

Mahindra has unveiled the ‘twin peaks electrified’, also known as the Mahindra XUV and Mahindra BE, as well as the INGLO electric platform, as 2 new brands under the Indian manufacturer. 

Five new vehicles are offered under the new brands, three of which fall under BE and two under XUV electric.

Be.05, Be.07, and Be.09 are the new models under BE, whereas Mahindra XUV.e9 and Mahindra XUV.e8 are the new models under Mahindra XUV. 

By the end of 2024, the first of these new vehicles is anticipated to go on sale. Additionally, the new electric SUVs from BE will be built on the business’s new INGLO electric platform. 

Mahindra XUV SUVs will be modeled on the XUV700, with the SUV XUV.e8 and the coupe XUV.e9.

The INGLO platform was created to be safer, offer quick charging coupled with more power, and work with all body types. Future SUVs will be able to use the platform’s 60–80 kWh batteries and 175 kW fast charging, which can charge batteries from 0% to 80% in 30 minutes. 

It should be mentioned that the BE brand’s SUVs built on this platform will have a whole different design language to appeal to new customers. 

These SUVs will also come equipped with a tonne of contemporary cabin technology as well as sophisticated amenities like self-parking and ADAS.

5 Upcoming Mahindra Electric SUVs In 2024

1. Mahindra BE.05

Based on the INGLO platform, the Mahindra BE.05 will be a relatively compact SUV. 

The SUV will have a completely new, strong design language with a racing theme and the “spirit of Mahindra” to appeal to a new market.

2. Mahindra BE.07

Mahinda’s BE.07 SUV will be based on the similar INGLO platform as BE.05, although it will be slightly larger in size.

The interior of the SUV will be upgraded with contemporary elements. In addition, the SUV’s design language anticipates what Mahindra electric vehicles may look like in the future.

3. Mahindra BE.09

The third SUV unveiled by the carmaker today under its new name is the Mahindra BE.09. With what appears to be a hint of a hybrid architecture, the SUV appears to be larger than past iterations.

4. Mahindra XUV.e8

The Mahinda SUV.e8 is most likely going to be the first of these electric SUVs to be introduced to the Indian industry under the latest brand with a copper twin peaks logo. 

Although the new SUV will have more modern amenities and an interior to fit its new heritage, it will be built on the Mahindra XUV700.

5. Mahindra XUV.e9

Based on the Mahindra XUV700, the Mahindra XUV.e9 will be an electric coupe. With characteristics comparable to those of contemporary cars, the new will be introduced to the Indian industry with the same copper twin peaks logo.
