The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for different cities & districts of Delhi, UP, Rajasthan & MP. 22 people have already been killed in Bihar.
On Tuesday, 22 people died in Bihar due to lightning and thunderstorms. Four people have died in East Champaran district, three in Bhojpur, five in Saran, two each in West Champaran and Araria, one each in Banka and Muzaffarpur, one each in Buxar and Nawada.
Apart from this, if we talk about today’s weather, monsoon can knock in many districts of UP. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in many districts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
The weather is likely to take a turn in Delhi within the next 24 hours.
Department has issued an alert of torrential rains in many districts & their neighboring regions of UP.
These include Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Gonda, Chitrakoot, Ambedkar Nagar, Kaushambi, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, Chandauli, Jaunpur, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Fatehpur, Basti, Banda, Ballia, Bahraich, Balrampur, Mirzapur, Lakhimpur, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Sitapur, Sultanpur.
According to the Meteorological Department, in the national capital Delhi, the weather will start taking a turn in the next 24 hours.
With a cloudy sky, winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Light rain may also occur. The department has also issued a yellow alert regarding this.
The maximum temperature can remain 42 and the minimum temperature can be up to 30 degree Celsius.
While issuing an orange alert for Thursday, the department has expressed the possibility of heavy rain.
Monsoon will enter through South Rajasthan between June 29 and 30. According to the Meteorological Department, the circulation system remains over South Rajasthan.
The air coming from the Bay of Bengal is also moving towards the state. There is a possibility of good rain. Very heavy rain may occur at some places from June 29 to July 1.
Heavy rain may occur in 15 districts on Wednesday. In such a situation, an orange and yellow alert of very heavy rain has been issued.
On June 29, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rain in Ajmer, Alwar, Baran, Bundi, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Jhalawar, Dausa, Kota, Tonk, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur.
The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Ujjain, Gwalior, Sagar, Rewa divisions including capital Bhopal in the next 24 hours.
