Lava Agni 2 5G Launched In India With 3D Dual Curved AMOLED Display

Lava, a renowned smartphone manufacturer based in India, has launched the Agni 2 5G, a new mid-range smartphone packed with impressive features. 

One of the key highlights of the device is its curved AMOLED display, measuring 6.78 inches and offering FHD+ resolution. The display also boasts a high refresh rate of 120 Hz, providing smoother visuals. 

Notably, it supports HDR, HDR 10, HDR 10+, and Widevine L1 for enhanced video streaming and vibrant colors. With a color depth of 1.07 billion, the display sets itself apart from others in its segment.

Under the hood, the Lava Agni 2 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, making it the first Indian smartphone to feature this processor. 

The device offers 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM, with the option to virtually expand the RAM to 16 GB. 

The smartphone is equipped with a 4,700 mAh battery that supports fast charging at 66W, ensuring quick and convenient recharging. It runs on Android 13 and promises two years of software updates and three years of security updates.

To deliver an exceptional gaming experience, the Agni 2 5G incorporates the latest 3rd Gen Vapour Chamber cooling technology. 

This feature prevents overheating during intense gaming sessions, allowing users to enjoy extended gameplay without performance issues. The device also includes X-Axis Linear Motor Haptics, enhancing typing and gaming feedback.

In terms of photography, the Agni 2 5G boasts a super 50 MP quad-camera setup. It features a unique 1.0-micron (1 um) pixel sensor, capturing more light and offering richer details in photos.

Sunil Raina, President & Business Head of Lava International, expressed his excitement about the Agni 2 5G, stating that it represents the pinnacle of Indian engineering in the smartphone industry. 

The device aims to cater to the expectations and aspirations of Indian customers in the Rs 20,000 price range. Lava’s goal with the Agni 2 is to showcase India’s technological capabilities on a global scale.

The Lava Agni 2 5G is priced at Rs 21,999 and will be available for sale starting from May 24. 

Customers can avail of a discount of Rs 2,000 when using credit or debit cards on Amazon, bringing the starting price down to Rs 19,999. 

The Agni 2 5G aims to provide consumers with a high-quality, feature-rich smartphone experience at an affordable price point.
