Khalistani Leader Warns Passengers Ahead of Sikh Genocide Anniversary

On Monday Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun released a new warning for air travelers in India. In his warning he asked to avoid flying with certain airlines such as Air India from November 1 to November 19.

As per the new warning an attack could take place on an Air India flight during the specified dates. This is because of the “40th anniversary of the Sikh genocide”.

According to India Today, he said that an attack could take place on Air India flights during these dates, which coincide with the 40th anniversary of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots or the “Sikh genocide.”

Though this is not the first time when India received such kind out threat, last year the founder of Sikhs for Justice had raised similar concerns during the similar time. But it does not means we can avoid the threat, taking it lightly can leads us unpleasent situations. So, Indian government is already preparing a plan for it.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is known for his involvement in promoting Khalistani separatism. His message raises concerns about the safety of air travel. Authorities are taking his warning seriously and are investigating the matter.

This threat came at a time when the relation of India and Canada are in a stressful situation. After the murder of terriorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, diplomatic was has erupted between India and Canada. This situation became more dense after the allegations of Canada about the targeting Khalistani elements in the country.

The Ministry of Home Affairs declared Gurpatwant Singh Pannun as a terrorist in July 2020. He faces charges of sedition and secessionism. Pannun leads a group called Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), which advocates for a separate Sikh state. You should also know that India banned SFJ as an “unlawful association” for engaging in “anti-national and subversive” activities.
