Kangana Ranaut: I am never the one to start a fight but the one to end it

Hindi movie actor, Kangana ranaut, has always come across as an outspoken, fiery and ‘win or go home’ type of a person and that has led to people forming an image about her and tagging her as ‘ladaku’ which translates into a fighter. But now the star is attempting to change this image of hers as she clarifies in her tweet that she is nothing like how she is portrayed.

She tweeted through her twitter handle on Thursday night that she is never the one to start a fight but the one to end it. “I may come across as a very ladaku person but it’s not true, I have a record of never starting a fight, I will quit twitter if anyone can prove otherwise, I never start a fight but I finish every fight. Lord Krishna said when someone asks you to fight you mustn’t deny them.”

The star has met with criticism after she called one of the ventran of the film industry, Urmila Matondkar, a soft pornstar who has made a name in the industry not because of her acting skills. Not only did she receive criticism from her colleagues from Bollywood, the public also condemned the unjustified attack.

From Kunal Kamra, a comedian to well known director, Anurag Kashyap, everyone has criticised Ranaut and have got slapped back by her. Kashyap sarcastically targeted one of Ranaut’s tweets where she called herself as a warrior who will fight for her self-respect and said that Only she can save us, sister — the one true Manikarnika. Take four or five people with you and fight China.

This comment obviously did not go well with Kangana who retaliated at Kashyap’s tweet saying that he was clever when they were friends and now he cannot understand metaphor as well. “Ok I go to the border, you should go to the next Olympics, the country wants gold medals haha. This is not a B-grade film where the artist becomes anything. You’re taking metaphors literally. How have you become so stupid? You were quite clever when we used to be friends.” Apart from this, Ranaut has been witnessing two extreme responses towards her after revealing and speaking against Bollywood. Vetrann actors like Jaya Bachchan in the parliament said that people should be grateful to Bollywood for giving them work rather than that people have become egoistic about it. This remark, many believe, was to target Ranaut’s statements.
