Kangana Ranaut calls battlefield her ‘home’, loves ‘sound of the clash of the sword’

Kangana Ranaut is one of the more vocal celebrities of the Hindi movie industry. She is someone who is not only active on social media to share her thoughts on the issues of the society but also about her acting experiences. Recently the actor shared her shooting stories from the movie Dhakkad. 

Ranaut called the battlefield her home and said that she loves the sound of the clash of the swords. “You may think it’s strange to find solace in conflict, you may think it’s not possible to fall in love with the sound of the clash of swords, for you BATTLEFIELD might just be an ugly reality but for the one who is born to FIGHT there is no other place in this world where she belongs,” said the actor. 

She shared a behind-the-scenes picture of herself and wrote a long paragraph on what she likes about the battlefield. The actor said that she was ‘born to fight’ and she finds ‘solace in conflict’. After tweeting everything, she said that these are the confessions of a hot-blooded Kshatriya woman. 

The picture that the actor posted on Twitter and on Instagram was a close up where the prosthetic battle scars were clearly visible. The movie is being directed by Razy Ghai and is being shot in Madhya Pradesh. 

The actor has been quite vocal about her achievements as an actress. She recently took twitter by storm when she compared herself to Hollywood legend Meryl Steep and Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot. She titled the tweet as a massive transformation alert and said that the kind of range she has displayed, no other actor has done it. 

“I have raw talent like Meryl Streep for layered character depictions but I can also do skilled action and glamour like Gal Gadot,” she tweeted. People had mixed reactions to this. Some said that it was indeed true as she has displayed great range and an actor while others questioned if she had any Oscars like Steep. 

The criticism did not go well with the actor and she hit back at those who questioned her awards saying that one should also ask Meryl Steep how many national awards does she have and added that it is high time that we come out of the slave mentality.
