Kaliyugam: Pramodh Sundar Presents A Mysterious Apocalyptic World

Can you imagine a world where there is no food, no water and no humanity? You may witness a similar world of 2064 in the upcoming movie Kaliyugam!

The upcoming Tamil film Kaliyugam, directed by Pramod Sundar, explores the idea of a world without humanity, food, and water. 

The Kaliyugam movie’s trailer was recently released and stars Shraddha Srinath and Kishore in prominent roles.

Set in the year 2064, the movie showcases a catastrophic world where scarcity of food and water leads to the extinction of humanity. 

The trailer features Shraddha and Kishore fighting for survival in two separate spaces. The movie also reveals the hidden shades of human behavior in such apocalyptic situations.

Produced by K S Ramakrishna and K Ramcharan under the banner of RK International Inc and Prime Cinemas, the film has Siddharth Swayamboo as the co-producer. 

The cinematographer for the film is K Ramcharan, and the editor is Nimz. The music is composed by Dawn Vincent.

Aside from Shraddha Srinath and Kishore, the film features Iniyan Subramani, Harry, Asmal, Santhosh, Mani, Aarya Lekshmi, Moses and Master Ronith in significant roles. The movie’s release date and OTT streaming partner are yet to be announced.

The Kaliyugam trailer shows Shraddha Srinath in a meaty role, often appearing scared and looking for something important. 

The trailer’s concept of a safe house is intriguing, and it remains to be seen if it has a solution to the scarcity depicted in the film.
