Jyotiraditya Scindia Launches Flights Between Ayodhya, Bengaluru, Kolkata

Today marks a significant day in the history of Indian aviation. The inauguration of flight services between Ayodhya, Bengaluru, and Kolkata took place, and it was a grand launch.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Civil Aviation Minister, and Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, were the key persons at this event.

They not only flagged off these new flight services but also received the first boarding passes for the inaugural Air India Express flight between Ayodhya and Kolkata.

In December 2023, we saw the start of flights from Delhi to Ayodhya. Then, in January 2024, services began from Ahmedabad to Ayodhya as well. Now, with these new flights, Ayodhya is even more connected to major cities like Bengaluru and Kolkata.

During the event, Mr. Scindia spoke about the progress Uttar Pradesh has made under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath. He highlighted that Uttar Pradesh is playing a crucial role in India’s overall development.

Scindia also mentioned the upcoming consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22, expressing the nation’s excitement for this event.

CM Yogi Adityanath, addressing the gathering via video-conferencing, shared the anticipation and excitement for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony. He also reflected on the remarkable development of Uttar Pradesh, particularly in terms of its air connectivity.

According to him, the establishment of an airport in Ayodhya, which was once thought impossible, is now a reality. He pointed out that Uttar Pradesh now has four international airports, thus the state has a significant role in enhancing India’s air connectivity.

Meanwhile, Shashi Tharoor criticized the recent problems at Delhi Airport, like delays and poor management, blaming the government and the Ministry of Civil Aviation. It was really surprising how a well-informed and knowledgeable leader, was talking so illogically.

Scindia revealed that Tharoor’s criticism showed a lack of understanding of technical sectors like civil aviation. Scindia also provided lots of facts and explanations to counter Tharoor’s claim.

He emphasized that the government is taking proper and quick actions to address the issues and improve the situation. He also highlighted the increased number of trained pilots for low visibility conditions.
