Jr NTR Sad About Cancelled Devara Event, Says His Pain is Greater Than Fans’

The pre-release event for Jr NTR’s new movie Devara: The first part of the show was brought to a halt on September 22. Since there are many people in the events they hold, people had some concerns that there will be insecurity in the happening. Jr NTR also came up with a video to say something about this.

• It was slated for 22 September 2013 at Novotel in Hyderabad.
• This was canceled another time because of overcrowding and some safety concerns.
• Jr NTR has recorded a video message stating how much it pains him.

Jr NTR’s Message to Fans

In his video, Jr NTR candidly mentioned how excited he was to be part of the event. He wanted to interact with the fans and engage in conversations about things related to Devara. He said to the fans; “I am very much disappointed that the event could not occur.” I know you’re disappointed. But my pain is even more than yours.

Jr NTR also came forward to support those people who had planned the event. He opined that it was unfair to hold them responsible for canceling it.

The people making the movie explained why they had to cancel:

• The event was planned near a huge fair (Ganesh Nimarjanam).
• The recent rain experienced in the last few days posed some challenges
• The heat of the sun alone would have made it difficult to have an outdoor event even if there was no rain.
• When the fans arrived in too large numbers, some boundaries were breached
• They said they had to call on the event to avoid any more loss of lives.

They apologized to those fans who traveled long distances just to watch Junior NTR.

About Devara

Devara is the first movie of Jr NTR on his own after a gap of six years. It is being directed by Koratala Siva and is scheduled to be released on September 27. The director declared that the movie would be divided into two episodes.

Jr NTR is a big star in Telugu movies, they said. People used to wait for him to appear at this event. Of course, that did not happen but the movie team ensured everyone that the film would be worth the wait.

This cancellation is evidence of how popular Jr NTR is. This is exemplified in situations where the shows attract so many fans that risks such as Stampede arise. What everyone wanted though was cancelled because safety had to prevail.
