Jio & Airtel, the leading telecom companies are ready to launch 5G service in about 1,000 different cities of India. The testing has been done for cloud gaming, TV streaming etc.
Jio tested 5G telecom equipment in preparation for launching 5G service in roughly 1,000 places.
During this, heat maps, 3D maps, and ray-tracing technology were used to estimate target customer consumption and income.
According to Reliance Company’s annual report, Jio has made a number of preparations for the launch of 5G services in the fiscal years 2021–2022.

The business claimed that Jio had also tested 5G-related services on the ground. During this time, applications for augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), cloud gaming, TV streaming, hospitals, and industry were observed.
The second-largest telecom company, Airtel, said this month that 5G service would begin in the nation.
Additionally, the business has contracts with Ericsson, Nokia, and Samsung for this. Jio, on the other hand, has also stated that nationwide 5G network service will begin on August 15.
Gopal Vittal, MD and CEO of Airtel, stated that the business will collaborate with the top technological partners from across the world to provide clients in the nation with the full benefits of 5G connection.
The most expensive bidder in the most recent 5G spectrum auction was Reliance Jio. Jio alone had submitted bids of Rs 88,078 crore out of the total of Rs 1.50 lakh crore.
