It’s confirmed! Ranbir-Alia to marry in second week of April

One of the most anticipated Indian weddings is undoubtedly the marriage of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Not just their families but their fans are waiting for them to give an official date for their celebration.

An entertainment website reported that it has been confirmed that the duo will be getting married in the second week of April this year. It all seems speculation till a very cose source to the Kapoor family said that they are planning on getting married this year, in fact this month only.

They might be planning to tie knot in the Kapoor family’s ancestral home, RK House in Chembur, Mumbai. Though the reports claim the wedding scenes to be true, another report stresses that they are merely planning for engagement and not the wedding.

As per the latest development, the wedding will supposedly be held in December this year while the engagement will happen in April. The reports also stand questionable as Ranbir’s uncle, actor Randhir Kapoor said that he has no information about the wedding and if it was happening, someone surely would have informed him about it.

“I’m not in Mumbai right now, and I haven’t heard anything about the wedding. If such a big wedding was happening at our house, somebody would have surely called me up and informed me,” he said from Shirdi in Maharashtra.

There are several reports floating in the industry about their wedding. One of them states that the source has confirmed that  wedding planning company ‘Shaadi Squad’ has been appointed for the task while Mehendi expert Veena Nagda has also taken charge of the assigned task. The two currently seem to be working on the logistics of the RK house where the wedding is being planned. The couple of their close relatives have not confirmed or straight away denied the reports about the marriage.
