ISRO, which has already made us proud with its previous missions, is now aiming even higher. Remember the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission?
Now, they are planning something even more ambitious – the Chandrayaan-4 mission. This is not just any mission; it’s a big step forward because this time, ISRO plans to bring back samples from the Moon. Imagine, pieces of the Moon right here on Earth!
ISRO Chief S Somanath shared this information, and it’s quite thrilling. They are developing new technology for this mission. One such technology is a robotic arm that will help collect these Moon samples. It sounds like something straight out of a science fiction movie, doesn’t it?
But that’s not all. There’s another big project in the works – the Bharatiya Antariksh Station. It’s India’s own space station, and the plan is to launch the first module by 2028.
A space station by India will be a huge achievement. It will be a place where scientists can do experiments in space, and guess what? Robots will help them there too.
Also, there’s something called the SPADEX experiment. This is really important for future space missions where humans will travel. SPADEX will show how two spacecraft can attach to each other in space, all by themselves.
India’s vision doesn’t stop here. ISRO is thinking about long-term stays in space. They are looking into things like inflatable houses for astronauts and even refueling satellites in space.
Plus, ISRO is talking with big space agencies like NASA to work together. This could mean our space station might connect with others like the International Space Station.

All of this shows that ISRO is not just playing a big role in space exploration but is also becoming a key player globally. It’s a proud moment for all of us in India, as our space research is reaching new heights.
