ISL 2022 Top Scorers: Dimitri Petratos & Ivan Kalyuzhnyi Lead Charts

Dimitri Petratos &  Ivan Kalyuzhnyi led the charts, followed by Bartholomew Ogbeche. The 3rd match week of the Indian Super League Season 9 has come to an end.

ISL 2022 Season 9: The Indian Super League’s third match week of its ninth season has come to a close. There have been a number of productive and exceptional goals in the games. 

The race for the prized Golden Boot has returned, pitting seasoned superstars against prominent summer signings for the honor of top goal scorer in India’s top division. 

Along with Ivan Kalyuzhnyi, Dimitri Petratos tops the charts with his spectacular hat trick.

With three goals each from two games, Dimitri Petratos of ATK Mohun Bagan and Ivan Kaliuzhnyi of Kerala Blasters equal for top place in the 2022–23 season. 

Bartholomew Ogbeche, the previous season’s Golden Boot winner, scored the decisive goal versus Bengaluru FC. With it, he this time swiftly rose to the top five.

Petratos made an impressive debut in the ISL, scoring three goals versus Kerala Blasters in Kochi. Regarding Kalyuzhnyi, the Ukrainian is making his debut in the Indian Super League (ISL). 

He stole the stage with a goal against Kolkata powerhouse East Bengal in his first game with Kerala Blasters. His lender is Oleksandriya.

Petratos and Kalyuzhnyi are being pursued aggressively by experienced attackers like Diego Mauricio and Cleiton Silva. Despite the weather, Diego Mauricio of Odisha scored a brace for his team against Jamshedpur. 

Cleiton Silva left Bengaluru for East Bengal in the offseason after two respectable seasons with the Blues. He netted 16 goals and provided seven assists during that time. 

After netting from the penalty mark in the defeat to Goa, the Brazilian scored the first strike in the 3-1 victory over NorthEast United.

The defending champions Hyderabad FC held Mumbai City to a 3-3 draw in their season opener against Mumbai City due to two goals from Joao Victor. Another person from his team, Halicharan Narzary, is close by and running quickly. 

The Indian striker scored his maiden goal as Hyderabad began their title defense in a 3-3 draw with Mumbai City and added a second in a 3-0 win over NorthEast United.
