Today the 67th match of IPL 2024 was being played between Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai.
Mumbai won the toss and decided to bowl first. Lucknow had set a target of 215 runs for Mumbai Indians.
Though rain disturbed the match and it was delayed. Rain had interfered in the ongoing match between Mumbai and Lucknow. Light drizzle started in the fourth over of Mumbai’s innings. At the end, LSG won the match with 18 runs.
After 3 big losses in this IPL 2024 this was the last match for LSG in this season. LSG ends IPL 2024 journey with a victory over Mumbai Indians.
LSG scored 214 run with loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Nicholas Pooran scored 55 runs in 41 balls for LSG and KL Rahul 75 in 29 balls.
Piyush Chawla was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets in the innings. Mumbai Indians need to chase 215 to win the match.
For MI , Rohit Sharma scored 68 runs in 38 balls, Dewald Brevis 23 runs and Naman Dhir runs.
