iPhone 16 Delivery in Minutes: Memes Explode as Quick Commerce Apps Join the Race

The launch of the iPhone 16 in India on September 20 brought an unexpected twist: Blinkit, Zepto, and BigBasket that was recently launched with apps that promise to deliver products within minutes are now offering to deliver the new phones in as short a time as possible. This is an unexpected action that has stirred up people’s imagination on social media with funny stickers and jokes.

Blinkit, an application in the quick commerce segment, said it would deliver the iPhone 16 within 10 minutes. This is possible because they have associated with Unicorn Stores, a company that is privileged to sell Apple products. Others such as Zepto and BigBasket also did not want to be left behind and began offering super-fast iPhone delivery.

Who Has Access to Quick iPhone Delivery?

Currently, it is only possible to get your iPhones delivered so fast if you reside in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, or Bengaluru. But there is a big but, here you can only buy the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus in the base version, and the availability of other models will be limited by the availability of components. The better Pro models and those phones with higher storage capacity are not part of this fast service as we speak.

When word got around that this was a quick delivery, people on social media had no choice but to post their comments. Most made humorous memes and jokes about how they could get an iPhone as quickly as they ordered a pizza. These posts are receiving a lot of laughter and are even shared more across the various social media platforms.

How It Stacks Up Against Online Stores

In India, large online stores like Amazon and Flipkart also remain preferred places to purchase the iPhones. They are also known to offer better prices, promotions, and means of payment in terms of installment. They however normally require a day or two to get delivered. But today with quick commerce applications for instant delivery, some clients would not mind paying a little extra to have their new iPhone tomorrow for instance.

This new way of obtaining iPhones may revolutionize the buying behavior of individuals especially when they are eager for a new phone. It is the struggle between waiting for a few extra days, to save the extra cash and getting the phone as soon as possible.

While all this was taking place on the Internet, some others queued in front of Apple outlets in Mumbai and Delhi to purchase their iPhones the conventional way. These lines have been a norm during the release of the iPhone for several years now.

Although apps making fast iPhone delivery, one must wonder how this is going to alter the way people purchase other popular gadgets in the future.
