Internet on fire after pics of Sonia Gandhi meeting PM Modi released

Social media is on fire after looking at pics of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi visiting Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with other government officials.

On Thursday, the Congress chief met with Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh after the Budget session of Parliament was adjourned sine die. These pictures were shared on the Twitter handle of the Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla.

The speaker also shared pictures of other parliamentary leaders who also were present to meet with the Prime Minister and the Defense Minister.

The ministers who were present at the meeting included the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah and former UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav.

The speaker urged all the party leaders to go for a high level of discussion after the adjournment of the Budget Session.

“I urged Hon’ble leaders of parties that collective efforts in raising the level of discussions & dialogue further is necessary in order to enhance the dignity of the House. It’s my sincere hope that all parties will actively cooperate in this endeavor,” he said while sharing the pictures. Among all that, it is the pictures of Gandhi meeting the three leaders that seem to have caught the most attention. It is after a long time that the leaders from two largest national parties have met and hence the social media went into a frenzy to take note of this occasion.
