Bastet, a goddess who was the daughter of the Sun God Re, had a fierce disposition that was improved by the domestication of cats approximately 1500 BCE. Cats have firmly established themselves in popular culture over time.

Significance Of International Cat Day

The most popular domesticated animals worldwide are cats and dogs. This day can be viewed as an opportunity to celebrate the joy and friendship cats provide to their owners’ lives.

But we should also show stray cats the same kind of affection and care. Unfortunately, the majority of these cats lead harsh lives.

One of the main goals of this day is to pamper your cat at home as well as care for stray cats because they deserve to be loved too.
