Indian Navy & NCB Seizes 200 kg Heroin From Pakistan Boat In Kochi

Indian Navy & NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) did a joint operation & busted a drug racket. They seized a Pakistani boat with 200 kg heroin worth ₹2,000 Crore.

Pakistan is currently making repeated attempts to ship drugs to India via the sea. India has now achieved significant success in this area. 

In a coordinated marine operation, the Indian Navy and NCB have successfully recovered 200 kilograms of heroin from a Pakistani boat. 

Six foreign citizens have reportedly also been detained, according to reports. Heroin with a value of Rs 2,000 crore.

According to Narcotics Control Bureau officers, the 200 kilogram of heroin that was taken from the Pakistani boat that was intercepted is worth Rs 2,000 crore. 

Investigations are being done to validate reports that the citizens detained by the government may be Pakistanis.

Strong Operation Against Drug Mafia

In this instance, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Indian Navy collaborated together to seize the heroin, according to the police. 

It is important to note that the NCB has initiated action against the drug cartel from Mumbai to Jamnagar in Gujarat.

Following this, the NCB held a press conference to announce that it had broken a racket, detained six suspects from various cities, including the kingpin, and recovered 60 kilograms of high-quality MD valued at almost Rs 120 crore which could be Pakistani.

Joint Operation of Indian Navy & Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)

Sohail Ghaffar, an Air India pilot from 2016 to 2018, has been identified as one of those detained in Jamnagar, according to NCB DDG SK Singh. 

The two seizures appear to have a similar association, according to preliminary examinations. The whole amount of MD medication that was confiscated (60 kg) is worth about 120 crores.

Additionally, he stated that as a result of an input, NCB seized roughly 50 kg of MD pharmaceuticals that had been concealed in a Mumbai godown during this operation with the Navy. 

Two persons have been detained, including the gang’s boss, and both of the suspects are from Mumbai.
