The Indian Women’s Cricket Team is set to play the second ODI against Bangladesh in their international series.
After winning the T20I series 2-1, India suffered a defeat in the first ODI against Bangladesh. The match will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka on July 19.
In the first ODI, Bangladesh scored 152 runs, with Nigar Sultana contributing 39 runs. Although the total was not high, the Bangladeshi bowlers, led by Marufa Akter and Rabeya Khan, performed exceptionally well and dismissed the entire Indian team for just 113 runs.
Historically, India has a better record against Bangladesh, but recent results indicate that both teams are evenly matched. India will be looking to bounce back with a win in the second ODI to stay competitive in the series.
The second ODI between India Women and Bangladesh Women will be played on July 19, starting at 9:00 AM IST. The match will not be televised in India but can be streamed live on the FanCode app and website.
The squads for both teams include notable players such as Jemimah Rodrigues, Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur (c) for India, and Nigar Sultana (c), Salma Khatun, and Shamima Sultana for Bangladesh.
