India To Be A Great Power, Not An US Ally: White House Official

The US White House stated that India is the most important key for the bilateral relationship for the United States in the 21st century. India is going to be a great power soon.

India is not an all-weather ally for the United States but will be an additional powerful power, a senior White House official said Thursday claiming that there is no other bilateral relationship that has been “deepened and enhanced” faster than that between the two nations over the past 20 years.

Answering a question regarding India in his speech in the Aspen Security Forum meeting here, Kurt Campbell, the White House Asia coordinator, declared that, in his view India represents the top bilateral partner between America. United States in the 21st century.

“The reality is that I’m not aware about any relationship getting stronger and broader more quickly than India and the United States and India over the past twenty years.” an official at the highest level of White House officials said to a Washington audience.

In the meantime, the United States needs to invest more of its resources and strengthen its connections between people working in tandem on issues of technology and more according to him.

“India has a unique strategic character. It is not an all-weather ally to its ally, the United States. It is determined for an independent and powerful, and powerful state and is a powerful power.

But I believe there is evidence to suggest the strategic alliance of our country is increasing across almost every area,” Campbell said.

There are a few limitations within both bureaucracies, and there are a lot of problems, he stated.

“But I believe this is a partnership that ought to be a bit more ambitious. We need to look at the ways we can work with each other, whether it’s in space, education, climate change, or technology, and then really make progress in that direction” the president said.

“If you take a look back over the last 20 years , and consider the challenges which have been overcome and the degree of the engagement between us It’s amazing,” he said.

The relationship between America and India, he said, isn’t based solely on a fear of China. “It is a greater awareness of the significance of synergies between our cultures,” he said, noting the fact that the Indian diaspora in America has a significant connection.

Campbell admitted that Indians were not entirely convinced in the event that the president Joe Biden and his administration made the decision to bring his Quad to the level of a leader.

“There were probably voices within their bureaucracy that opposed the idea. But after President Biden made the call repeatedly to Prime Minister Modi the government decided that it was in their best interests,” he said.

“I’m extremely positive about the Quad. I believe it will be an unofficial event. However, it does have a number of lines of communication and has contributed to the strengthening and strengthening of coordination between the four major maritime democracies.” Campbell said.

The Quad is also known by its acronym,”the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue is made up of four nations that include India, The United States, Australia, and Japan.
