India Gets Its 5th Vande Bharat In Bengaluru, Between Mysore & Chennai

India’s 5th Vande Bharat Express is just launched in Bengaluru to run between Mysore & Chennai. The train has a capacity to run up to 160 km per hour.

At KSR Bengaluru station, Prime Minister Narendra Modi signaled the start of the inaugural special of the first Vande Bharat Express in South India.

PM Modi today launched the 5th Vande Bharat Express, a semi-high-speed train that runs from Mysore to Chennai through Bengaluru, during his tour to Bengaluru (Bangalore).

The indigenous train has gained popularity on the routes it was begun on thanks to its fast speed, comfort, and features among other numerous characteristics, giving it an advantage over other Shatabdi and Express trains.

“The train can go 160 kilometers per hour. A railway official told PTI that if operated at full capacity, the train could reach Chennai from Bengaluru in only three hours.

The train was developed by Integral Coach Factory (ICF), a railways production facility in Chennai, who claim that it includes an intelligent braking system that allows for better speed and acceleration.

At this location’s Krantiveera Sangolli Railway station, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday signaled the start of the launch special of south India’s first Vande Bharat Express.

The Chennai-Mysore Vande Bharat Express was kicked off by PM Modi at Bengaluru’s Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna (KSR) Railway Station.

The PMO stated that it will improve connectivity between Chennai’s industrial base, Bengaluru’s IT and startup hub, and Mysore, a well-known tourism destination. Through Bengaluru, the train links Mysore and Chennai.

In accordance with the Railways’ “Bharat Gaurav” train strategy, the Prime Minister also signaled the departure of the “Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan” train, which is run by the Muzrai Department of Karnataka.

The South Western Railway claims that it will “fulfill the aspiration of many travelers wishing to undertake Kashi Yatra.”

For pilgrims, the train provides a 8-days tour package at a subsidized price.

According to official sources, the Karnataka government offers the Kashi Vishwanath Yatra pilgrims cash support in the amount of Rs 5,000.

This railway passes through revered locations including Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj.
