India Expels Pakistani Anchor Jainab Abbas Over Anti-Indian Comments

Pakistani female anchor Jainab Abbas has been expelled from the country amid World Cup 2023, over her controversial comments against Indian culture.

Pakistani sports anchor Jainab Abbas is facing legal trouble due to her controversial social media posts against Indian culture and Hinduism.

Her name was included in the International Cricket Council (ICC) commentators’ list for the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023 in India.

An investigation was conducted into Jainab’s previous social media posts, which were accused of making disrespectful comments about Hindu deities.

Following the verification of these allegations, India expelled Jainab, she had to leave India and is currently in Dubai.

She is denying these accusations but social media profile is showing the truth. So far, there has been no official statement from the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Jainab’s mother’s name is Andaleeb Abbas, who is a politician and a member of Pakistan’s national assembly.

Jainab was married to Hamza Kardaar, the son of a former finance minister and a member of the State Bank of Pakistan.

Jainab also has experience as a makeup artist. Her annual income is around 8 crore rupees, and her total assets are approximately 40 crore rupees. Most of her earnings come from hosting TV shows.

In India, Supreme Court lawyer Vinit Jindal has filed a cyber complaint against Jainab. This legal action was taken after alleged offensive tweets against Hindu deities. These posts were discovered on Jainab’s old Twitter account, which was known as ‘JainabLovesWork’ at the time.

Currently, she has updated it to ‘JabbasOfficial.’ The lawyer claimed that these objectionable tweets, considered as ‘anti-Hindu’ and ‘anti-India,’ were posted nearly nine years ago.

According to Jainab, these tweets are old and have no connection to her World Cup commentary, so she should not have been expelled from India. Is there any logic to her statements?

She thinks that she shouldn’t be stopped from covering World Cup matches as her statements were not related to cricket.

She says that the mockery she made of Indian culture was done many years ago, so she shouldn’t be held responsible now. She also believes that by changing her social media account name, she can avoid being caught.

India had given her a place to live, food to eat, and a way to earn a living. However, she started spreading anti-India agendas. If she is a cricket or sports reporter, the ICC should also take responsibility.

In both India and Pakistan, it takes 20-30 years for a single case to be heard, yet action is taken and punishments are given. Currently, Jainab Abbas has fled to Dubai, but speaking against India will certainly have consequences for her.
