How To Reach Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya By Metro, Shuttle Bus?

Reaching the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, a prime attraction in the heart of the capital, just got easier. The Delhi transport department has rolled out a special ‘shuttle bus’ service that makes the museum more accessible.

Starting November 1, 2023, visitors can hop onto these shuttle buses from nearby metro stations at Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan.

The plan is to also link Lok Kalyan Marg station soon based on how folks like the new service. This bus loops around, making trips every hour, and even lets you grab a ticket to the museum right on board.

The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, which opened back in April 2022, is a tribute to India’s rich political history and its journey through parliamentary democracy. It’s not just about the past, though.

The museum also celebrates modern triumphs like India’s space ventures, including the Chandrayaan missions. There’s even a stunning light and sound show that takes you through this cosmic journey. Plus, another show dedicated to the brave women warriors of India is on the cards for this November.

Now, if you’re wondering how to reach this museum of history and heroism, it’s quite simple. By metro, just ride the Yellow Line and get off at Lok Kalyan Marg station. It’s a short walk from there to the museum.

Or, you can jump on one of those new shuttle buses I mentioned above. If you are one of those who prefer to drive, yes you can reach Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya by driving. But let me inform you, there’s limited parking space for bikes and cars.

Every day, about 2,000 people walk through the museum’s doors, each leaving with a deeper understanding of India’s growth and achievements.

With nearly seven lakh visitors since its inauguration, the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya is not just a museum; it’s a vibrant, living narrative of India’s evolving story.

So, if you’re planning a visit, remember, that history isn’t just in the past; it’s a path that leads us forward. The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya is a perfect place to start that journey. Enjoy your visit!
