Hartalika Teej 2022: Fasting Time, Rules and Right Meals

The Indian women are celebrating Hartalika Teej 2022 by performing fasting, worship, mehandi and other rituals. Here are some tips for fasting on this occasion.

Hartalika Teej 2022: The third of the 3 well-known Teejs, Hartalika Teej, which is observed in Sawan as well as Bhadrapada months, is soon to arrive.

Women who follow the fast on Hartalika Teej are occupied with preparations for one of the most significant celebrations in Bihar, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and some areas of Madhya Pradesh after Hariyali Teej and Kajari Teej.

This year, Hartalika Teej is being observed on Tuesday, August 30.

During the Shukla Paksha Tritiya of the Bhadrapada month, the Hartalika Teej Vrat is observed, & on this day, sculptures of Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati are made from the sand and worshiped for marital success.

Girls who are single and looking for a good marriage also observe the fast. One of the most challenging fasts is Hartalika Teej since it is largely nirjala (without water) and the women who perform it go without food and water for approximately 24 hours.

Depending on the traditions practiced by a particular family, fruits and water may be consumed by sick people and pregnant women.

Shringar samagri, such as mehndi, bichua, kajal, bindis, and bracelets, are dedicated to Goddess Parvati & Lord Shiva on this day; the amount of fruits and sweets offered must be three. Typically, women wear red and green hues.

Date & Time of Hartalika Teej 2022
