Har Ghar Tiranga: World Record Of Largest Online Album With Tricolor

SPPU is running a “Yuva Sankalp” campaign under the Swarajya Mahotsav & Har Ghar Tiranga program to set a world record of largest online album of people holding Tricolor.

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is launching a “Yuva Sankalp” campaign as part of the Swarajya Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga program, joining educational institutions all around the nation in commemorating 75 years of Indian Independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav).

The university will carry out 75 different activities as part of this campaign, which will be launched by the deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday.

One of these activities will involve an attempt to break a world record by compiling the biggest online collection of people holding the Indian Tricolor.

Rajesh Pandey, the chairman of the organizing committee, stated during a news conference that the institution has more than 750 connected colleges, 65,000 NSS volunteers, and close to 3,000 professors and teaching personnel.

They are attempting to engage more than five lakh people who are connected to the institution, notably students, teachers, non-teaching staff, and others, in the campaign.

In addition to staff members and professors, Fadnavis will also present the national flag to two delegates from each college at the event’s opening on Tuesday.

“For those holding the national flag, there is currently no world record. As a result, this will be the first time that it is attempted.

Pune Municipal Corporation has made 55,000 flags accessible for this purpose, and 100 flags would be given to each college.

We have developed a QR code and website so that people can engage in the activity.

On the website, one must post a photo of themselves carrying their country’s flag in front of their chest with both hands”, explained Pandey.

The photos can be posted from August 9 to August 15, and the institution has set a goal of 1.5 lakh photos for this purpose.
