Groww App Not Working: Technical Glitch Resolved After A Brief Outage

The Groww app, a popular online trading platform in India, recently encountered a technical glitch that caused significant inconvenience to its users.

On Tuesday, during intraday trading hours, users found themselves unable to log into the app. This issue continued for nearly an hour, creating a wave of frustration and concern among the stock market investors and traders community.

Groww acknowledged the problem and assured its users that a dedicated team was working to resolve the technical difficulties as quickly as possible. The company expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and requested patience from its users.

Many Groww app users, who were looking forward to trading during the day, faced challenges due to this unexpected outage.

Unable to access their accounts, some users reported potential losses, with a few even demanding compensation from Groww for the financial setbacks they endured.

The issue also sparked discussions on social media platforms. Users shared their experiences of being unable to log in, with one pointing out the risks of keeping overnight positions, not just because of market volatility but also due to potential technical issues with brokerage apps.

Around 1 PM, Groww announced that the glitch had been resolved. The Groww Team confirmed on social media that the technical issue was fixed, and users could now resume their activities on the app or through the browser.

Despite the resolution, the incident left a mark on the users’ trust. Some users criticized Groww for not communicating effectively about the duration of the outage.

A particular grievance was about the app displaying a ‘no fund’ message when users tried to buy shares, despite having sufficient funds in their accounts.

Groww was started by four people who had experience in technology and finance. They wanted to make investing easy for everyone in India.

Groww has a lot of different types of investors using their platform. Its portal is easy to use and has many different investment options. This makes it good for both beginners and experienced investors.

But Groww is more popular among beginners because it is simple and has resources to help them learn about investing.
